Terms of Service for using ServiceInvoice

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ServiceInvoice website and invoicing application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

ServiceInvoice helps service and trade businesses manage customers, log work, and create and send invoices. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.

Accounts and eligibility

• You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

Plans and billing

• The Service offers a free plan with usage limits and a paid (Pro) plan with additional features.
• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe) until cancelled.
• You can cancel a paid plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may change our prices, with notice for existing subscribers before the change applies.

Your content and invoices

You retain ownership of the data you enter, including your customers, jobs, and invoices. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the invoices you create and send, including correct tax treatment (such as VAT), pricing, and compliance with the laws that apply to your business. ServiceInvoice is a tool that helps you produce invoices and does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted by law.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by ServiceInvoice and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding beyond using the Service as intended.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ServiceInvoice will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
